Correction:
My dad does not like "The L Word" that much but... he absolutely adores "Queer As Folk." He started watching it this season and says that it is an excellent soap opera, completely entertaining. He likes it so much that he wants to catch up on previous seasons that are on DVD.
However, he is too embarrassed to go the video store to rent it. Someone might get the wrong idea. I'm not sure exactly what he's afraid of- maybe he's embarrassed to admit he watches Showtime.
